Tony Dunne / Bass/Vocals:

Music has always been an important part of my life. Growing up, our house always had music playing somewhere. My mother played the piano, 2 brothers played guitar and, since I grew up in the 60's, our house was filled with some of the greatest music ever recorded. My first instrument was a set of drums. Santa somehow managed to drag a $20 drum set down our chimney when I was 10. He even set it up for me. What a guy!!

I picked up the guitar while in high school and taught myself with the help of a Beatles songbook. After high school I joined the Navy and played in various bands on our ship. I started playing bass in 1984, joining my brother and his friend's band, playing original, folksy, quirky music. With a name like "The Calypso Mummies", what do you expect?

From 1989-91, I was the lead singer for a Portland band, "Mr. Seed". We played parties and various clubs in Portland, including the Satyricon and the legendary X-Ray Cafe.

In 2004 I answered an ad for a bass player in The Dalles. I met the band and there was this guy named Robby on guitar. Our eyes met and ....well, we've been musically inseparable ever since. I am also Vice President of Sir Wilsongs Ltd. & CEO of Thunder Paw Records. But, enough about me. What's your sign?
