KISW Rock in Seattle used to bill themselves as The Best Mix of Old and New!, and their playlists were just that.

GrindHouse does the same, not only with their set lists, but their band members as well. With ages ranging from 23 to over 50, GrindHouse offers the best mix of hard knocks experience with raw young talent.

The music of GrindHouse has an extra-ordinary depth and breadth that is exemplified in their re-interpretations of old classics and in the way they deliver both newer songs and their originals. Whether an astounding deliverance of a Paul Simon song in a hard rock format or a sweet and gentle ballad - all are served up with a solid dash of blues-based soul.

The influences are many and song choices in the set lists are diverse. Even the original songs don't readily fall into any one category.
