A little about me, eh?

Early Years

I grew up around Carson in Skamania county

I have been playing around this great land of ours for over 40 years. I have played folk, pop, jazz, and rock tunes, and all kinds of stuff in between, but I mostly play country music.

Life On The Road

I have played with my brother Sonny for most of my life, and with my brother Russ for almost that long.

About this web site

The main purpose of this site is to help get songs we wrote out there for people to hear, and for musicians to want to learn, and jam on, and play.

It was originaIly called Drifting Cowboy Ranch because that was the project name for the web template that was being created for me, so it was named that for a week or two whilw we got up and running.

I wouldn't mind if drifting cowboys found it to be a nice watering hole on their way through this corner of cyber space, driving their great herds of data to market out there in the cloud, or wherever the new frontier is these days.

The site was tossed together by Ric Frye of Ekone Creative Services and is hosted in Ekone, the Land of the Good Spirit. He's a pretty good sound technician, too. (He says he's just a taper, but you can judge for yourself by the seven songs by Sonny & me on the playlist because he recorded them).
