About GorgeAccess.Net

The Land of the Good Sprits .

Back in 2003 I registered the domain GorgeLink.Net in order to make web space for artistic and entrepeneurial members of GorgeLink.Org to stretch their web wings. I also wanted to give nonprofits and NGOs to be able to get their messages out by awarding a subdomain per year to a worthy cause on a pay it forward basis.

Our hosting plan was paid up but the domain registration fell through the cracks due to a lack of customer awareness, coupled with clueless customer service and sales departments at our domain registrar in 2005 and our registrar for GorgeLink.Net sharked the domain name on me. There we were, our hosting paid up and our data on the server and no domain to point to it all because our domain name was tied up because we couldn't produce the last for digits of the creidit card that was used to register the domain after being on the phone to their company for weeks trying to straighten the renewal out.

So I registered this domain name to give us a DNS entry to point to our old sites, moved the hosting to Dreamhost for more bandwidth, and that is how GorgeAccess.Net came to be. Just a little nexus in cyber space for people who to hang a website, at the domain formerly known as GorgeLink.Net.
